Construction


The Construction Department oversees all construction activities for the Etowah Water and Sewer Authority. We, as a dedicated team, assure that water and sanitary sewer extensions are constructed according to our Water Main and Sanitary Sewer Standard Specifications. We work with developers, design engineers, and utility contractors on public and private community development projects during project conception, plan review, construction, inspections, and final acceptance. We work with our Consulting Engineers, General Manager, and other company departments on Capital Improvement Projects from project conception to final acceptance.
 

The Construction Department interacts with other company departments as needed in helping to meet the daily functional needs within the company. We operate throughout the year on a fixed budget prepared by our department, reviewed and revised by our General Manager, and approved by our Board of Directors. We are proud to have had this department formulated by our General Manager and Board of Directors and strive to professionally maintain the duties directed upon us.
